FAQs

Forever Flower Bouquets

  • How quickly does Forever Flower Bouquets need the flowers?

For the best results, we advise receiving your flowers within 48 hours after your event, though we can work with flowers up to 4 days old. Until you can bring or ship them to us, store them in a refrigerator with water, but avoid freezing. We can provide detailed shipping instructions if needed.
  • Where do I keep the flowers until I see you?

We recommend storing your flowers upright in a vase inside your refrigerator. If the stems are exposed, place them in a small amount of water. It's important to note that freezing the flowers can cause damage, so please avoid this.
  • When will my piece be ready?

The drying process typically takes between 60 to 75 days. You can expect your finished piece to be ready within 4 to 6 months from when we begin the preservation process.
  • What is a layout and design meeting?

This important meeting takes place about 60-75 days after your wedding. During this session, you'll choose your frame and background and decide on any additional elements for your floral keepsake. We offer our design consultations offered in-person in Marietta, via FaceTime, or over text. We schedule appointments on both weekdays and weekends to suit your needs.
  • Why should I press my bouquet?

Preserving your bouquet creates a lasting memento of your special day, typically costing only about 1% of your total wedding budget. We recommend professional preservation to ensure the best results, as DIY attempts can often lead to disappointment. Our expert techniques ensure vibrant, long-lasting colors and optimal preservation of various flower types, resulting in a cherished keepsake that will last a lifetime.
  • How long will the flowers last?

With proper care, your preserved floral piece can last indefinitely. To maintain its quality, avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, humidity, or damp conditions. It's natural for some color changes to occur over time, but this doesn't affect the overall beauty of your keepsake.
  • Can you press any flower?

At Forever Flower Bouquets, we aim to accommodate all flower types, selecting the best blooms from your bouquet. While we strive to preserve each flower, it's important to understand that some varieties may not survive the pressing process. This is a normal part of the preservation procedure.
  • Will my bouquet look the same when it is dried?

While we strive to maintain the essence of your bouquet, some changes during the drying process are inevitable. We can recreate your floral arrangement using event photographs and employ color enhancement techniques as needed, such as deepening reds or adjusting whites to ivory tones, to preserve the overall aesthetic of your original bouquet.
  • How much does it cost to ship the flowers?

Shipping costs vary depending on your location within the United States. For an accurate estimate, we suggest contacting your local UPS or FedEx office directly.
